Descrizione: Syndicate è un gruppo di artisti, curatori, scrittori, organizzatori di Festivals e networkers, soprattutto dell’est europeo, che lavorano nel campo dell’electronic and media art. La nascita di tale organismo deriva dalla consapevolezza che i paesi europei, in vario modo, condividono esperienze simili e proietta se stesso "al di fuori" dell’ambito virtuale organizzando piattaforme "reali", ulteriore luogo di aggregazione e scambio. Il cuore dell’organizzazione, cioè la sua Mailing list è ospitata dall’ "Ars Electronica Center" a Linz e coordinata dal V2_Organisation. Il V2_East crea il sito d’appoggio alla mailinglist ed al database di IDEA (International Directory of Electronic Arts), per cui tutti e tre questi soggetti multimediali concorrono per il fine di divulgare le informazioni sulla media arte e offrono gli strumenti per esplorare il territorio europeo in tale ambito.
